None of my faith in humanity is restored, because apparently, up until very recently, IE was still the most popular web browser in the world.

IE has never - EVER - been the superior product. Netscape Navigator was fucking better back in the day. Fuck you, Microsoft.

Making metal every night and day.

Good lord, I remember Netscape. That little "N" symbol with the pretty stars was so very 90s, and awesome.

"I just kind of go with that and go like, 'That was
cool. You know what it needs? More!', and then when
I'm done with putting more on I go, 'Yeah, that
sounds great. But you know what would be even
better? That's if I put more in there.'"

Except Safari won't even print a PDF mailing label from the Post Office website properly.

I used to surf online at the public library using this:

I also, around that time, surfed from home on the Tallahassee Freenet provided by the Public Library. Where they had 6 or so active phone lines and you had to try repeatedly to connect your 14400 baud modem to free internet
