Default I need a desk

I need to replace my desk, and I'm looking for something simple. Preferably a corner desk, with nice long wings and no drawers, cabinets, etc. These sort of things were really popular when I was in college - everyone had the same $120 desk from Staples. Now, I'm having a hell of a time finding something without a big hutch, and drawers everywhere, etc - I just want lots of flat space. Something like this, without the riser on the right

Anyone know where I could find such a thing? Looked through the WB Mason catalog here at work, and didn't find anything. Ikea, Staples, etc don't seem to have anything as far as I can tell from their websites.

Build one?

if you were any closer, id be happy to help you out. Do you guys have world market out there? theyre a bit pricey, but have amazingly well built desks with great functional design, that look good. Im about to snag a desk from there once it hits clearance

Never heard of World Market

If I don't find something, I'll be building me own, but it's easier to buy than to put the work into making something the gf won't find ugly

I built mine out of 2 old wardrobes, it's 4 metres long and has enough space for everything I also woulda said staples considering your location, but if you've tried there, my suggestion is null and void

I'm pretty comfortable building something like a desk, but the time and materials investment (particularly time) makes buying something attractive

An L/corner desk will probably fit better in the space I have, but I can rearrange things if I find something else I like.

So my ideal desk has always been this:

A friend has one and I REALLY like it - perfect size, nice rounded edge, sturdy etc. Luckily I just found 2 of them on craigslist for a great price - picking them up tonite.
