Default Duncan Jazz-7, Custom-7 and BMP-1s quick demo

Here's something I came up with really quick just to run through the pickups and preamp (bypassed and active). Clean sounds are the Jazz-7 in the neck, grind is the Custom-7 in the bridge. No double-tracking or anything. It should be fairly obvious where the Blackouts Modular Preamp switches in, but I've added notes to that effect on Soundcloud.

Ass-tastic playing, but this was conceived, recorded and uploaded within a couple of hours.

Wirelessly posted (like MAGIC!)

Not bad for being recorded entirely in GarageBand on my iPhone, huh?

Sounds Cool. I like the piano parts. What do you usually use to record besides your iPhone? :P

Decibel dB2 -> George L's cable -> Apogee Jam -> iPhone (running GarageBand)

That's it.

The drums are a stock loop in GarageBand. I played the piano parts and electric piano bass part right on the screen using the virtual instruments in GarageBand.

What do i usually use? I don't do a lot of recording on my own, so it's usually GarageBand on my Mac.

interesting tone with the preamp but I liked it without more so. Great little clip though Darren.

Yeah, I think the digital input doesn't do it justice. It sounds WAY better through an amp.

Even when i got to play that guitar in person, i felt like the preamp threw a wet blanket over the sound playing clean, but added a nice kick in the pants on leads.

It probably needs a little tweaking on the pickup heights to get it dialed in just right for both passive and active modes.
