I tried to learn this way back in the mid-to-late 90's when I was first learning how to play and was still on a big blues-rock kick. I then kind of forgot about the track, and focused mostly on Jimi stuff like his blues playing and ballady stuff like Little Wing and The Wind Cries Mary.
Flash forward to this weekend - I was over at my brother's place on Saturday. He owns an acoustic (an Alvarez, the guitar responsible for my recommending their entry level stuff for anyone wanting a nice guitar for a reasonable price, and it's improved with age), and has recently been spending some more time learning how to play. We were passing it back and forth, working him through Marley's "No Woman No Cry," when he asked me if I still remembered how to play that tune, and pulled out a tab. I didn't, so I started workign through it.
What a cool guitar part - honestly, I pretty much played it nonstop all weekend since. That G-Bb-C-Bb bit in particular is just so ridiculously fun to play... Jimi's clean rhythm playing is really about as good as clean guitar gets.
