Default Speaking of Macalpine...

According to his myspace, he's now with Ibanez.

That would explain him selling off his Carvins.

Presumably he's going to be playing something swankier than the S7320 he's pictured with there. New sig model, maybe?

I never thought his tone with the Carvins was all that great. I like the way he sounded with the BC Riches back in the day. Maybe he get a neckthru RG sig model. That would make sense.

Neckthru S7 24-fret with ZR and no shitty Wizard II profile?

We can hope.

Oh, I dunno, a neckthru RG with better quality hardware and electronics could have pretty good tone, actually. At that point, it's essentially just a pointier Soloist. I agree with you if he's going to be playing a stock RG or Sabre, though.

Me too and to be honest I liked his Peavey rig days too. I don't get the feeling Tony loses a lot of sleep over his tone.

I'm just glad to see to something is finally happening in the world of Tony. He's been flying under the radar for far too long. I hope this means we might see a follow up to Chromaticity some day soon.
