A buddy of mine at work and I are talking about music. He said he hasn't been to many concerts. He says, "Well, the only concert I've been to where there was singing was James Taylor." I promptly tell him that I'm taking him to a rock'n roll show. He says, "I saw The Blue Man Group, that was pretty rock'n. And Stomp!"
So, anything utterly displeasing coming to the Toledo area soon?
Hmm. There's something called the "Thrash and Burn Tour" coming through in August:
Periphery you of course should know quite well, and I've heard good things about Veil of Maya. Tickets are like $148 each though, so not sure if it'd be worth it.As a co-sponsor of the 2009 run of the Thrash & Burn Tour, MetalSucks is pleased to announce the full, confirmed lineup of bands for this year’s trek. The tour will run through the U.S. from July 24th through August 30th, 2009, and will be headlined by MetalSucks-faves Devildriver. Support will come from Emmure, Despised Icon, My Children My Bride, Veil of Maya, For The Fallen Dreams, Oceano, Periphery and Red River Revival [UPDATE: Red River Revival will not be on the tour. -Ed.]
