God, I forgot how much fun this was...

Setting my POD to the old stock "Spinal Puppet" preset, turning up the reverb past noon, and just noodling... instant '80s legato solo tone.

Pinch harmonics, infinite sustain, warmth, and license to play the "Top Gun Theme" in as many different themes as I can.

This has just made me realise I've never bothered to try any of the presets on my POD.

    But back on topic...

You are correct sir...much fun is to be had with a big OTT 80s rock tone, but to borrow an analogy from Tuck Andress, it's like wearing a superhero uniform; feels awesome in the privacy of your own home, but you wouldn't necessarily want to do it in public.

"The greatest power one may possess -- in any situation -- is simply not to care what happens.

"In fact, it's the only power, all others being a semblance and mockery of it. But you must also not care about possessing the power itself. So fuck it."
