Yeah, overall our new stuff is more melodic, more varied, more shreddy. Though we definitely have a couple of breakdown-ish parts, we keep them short and minimal. We have some familiar sounding stuff, we're aware people are going to say "That part sounds like Meshuggah" or "That part sounds like After The Burial" since we're playing 8-strings and have a bit of influence from both of those bands, but we try to use those influences in unusual ways.
So, if you hear riffs in this video that sound "typical", they're crammed between riffs that will hopefully be completely unexpected
We love crazy, technical music, but we're suckers for catchy, groovy stuff that we, and the crowd, can get moving to, and we're trying to find the balance
