    Hiromi's Sonicbloom

I mentioned Hiromi's quartet in the Sabbath jazz thread, so I thought I would throw this out there. SonicBloom is Hiromi Uehara's quartet, which is the trio with guitarist Dave 'Fuze' Fiuczynski.

    So, 'Led Boots'

I've heard Hiromi's music before. Good stuff.

As good as Hiromi's albums are, they pale in comparison to how good she and Sonicbloom are in concert. I saw them in concert a few months ago at Blues Alley here in DC, and they were phenomenal. I got to sit maybe 10 feet away from Hiromi, and I was blown away by how energetic a player and performer she is.

Fuze plays some amazing stuff on that fretless guitar of his--I can't even comprehend being able to do that.

At the start of that second video I would have sworn that was a sax playing before they went to the wide shot and I saw the guitarist. Crazy good/unique phrasing. Overally really cool stuff
