Music's heaviest moments - put them here

what are the heaviest sections of music to you?

for me, there's this, from 1:30 - 2:13. But within all that, especially the guitar solo section. The solo section has the perfect combo of aggro lead, buzz saw riffs, and heavy drumming. the picture this paints for me is a sky full of b52s. an awesome and dark display of force

next up.... 0:46 - 0:56. Ten seconds of music that completely makes me want to punch faces.

There's something unstoppable about 8th note riffs on top of 16th note double kicks.... Happens many times during this song.... but the first glimpse is bliss.

    the riffs 3:22. it's a no-brainer.

for these dudes, the chorus.... heavy... like they are...

    This riff. So crushing.

    The original heavy music riff!

The first blast beat? Heavy, dark, and hair-rasing.

That first chord thundering in, then the crushing build and release...

And honestly, riff after riff after riff to get your head banging

Yes, I'm weird. But I grew up on classical music, and some of it is truly thunderous, epic stuff.
Too much focus leads to tunnel vision
Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

The riff is there through out the song, but with the vocalist growling, "your trust in faith!" pumps me up.

This always seemed heavy in a classical-esque kind of way.

The piece the previous piece borrowed from

Blackwater Park always seems like a heavy Opeth song to me. The growl of, "the sun sets forever over Blackwater Park," seemed a fitting, heavy ending to the song and album.

Nice catch Nate, I forgot about Mars. That was always one of the most fun songs to play in any orchestra I was in!

Just thinking about gojira's terra incognita means I'd have to post that whole album..
