Default Fire...soul?

I actually rather like this, though I also really like jazz. Seeing as its the actual band playing it though, its that much better.

That's great! So it only takes five bottles of booze to turn a heavy metal act into a jazz trio. Good to know.

Good stuff. Mercenary is awesome. Do any of you other guys tend to do this? In almost all of the bands I've been in, I have really tended to do this a lot. Like, take one of our heaviest songs and play it clean or acoustic with jazz voicings singing the lyrics really jazzy or softly (or recently what my band has been doing: playing blues-rock, pop-rock, and "youth rock" versions of our songs ). Good to see bands that don't take themselves too seriously.

^ We've done that at jam Or we'll take pop/rock songs and play them really fast and loud and thrashy

Yeah, my old band got bored and did reggae versions of Evanescence, jazz versions of Slayer and similar stuff. This however, may be the best version of any song ever. I am in love.
