Default Lesser Known Pink Floyd Appreciation Thread

Don't get me wrong. I love The Wall and Darkside, but they have so much more to offer. I really don't see why you don't hear any of their other stuff on the radio or talked about with the exception of Barret era stuff and that's kinda rare in my experience. Maybe it's all the Gilmore vs Waters crap and people's loyalties to whomever, but fuck all that.

I'm so blackmetal, I poop glaciers.

Animals is one of my all-time favourite albums, and I hate when the so-called PF fans doesn't even know about it

It's pretty crap in the grand scheme of Floyd, but as an album on it's own, it's not bad. Waters annoys me though, whiney bastard...

The bridge of "Dogs" (the "...dragged down by the stone" part) is fucking perfect.

+1 I like it quite a lot as well

Now Waters solo album the Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking....ugh that was not so good - especially compared against Gilmour's excellent solo stuff.

Ive always liked Meddle quite a bit.
