So, I've been kind of a fan of Skillet for a while. I really liked "Collide" and thought "Comatose" was even better, I even like some of their older stuff.
But, I've always had a bit of a problem with them. They have some really good songs (IMHO), but whenever I see the singer in interviews, something about him just rubs me the wrong way, he always seemed a little fake. I'm not sure why.
Well, I finally heard their newest album (came out last year), and I just have one thing to say:
YOU CAN NOT WRITE SONGS ABOUT BREAKUPS WHEN YOUR WIFE IS IN THE BAND, PLAYING GUITAR AND SINGING BACKUP VOCALS AND EXPECT PEOPLE TO TAKE IT SERIOUSLY.

They're VERY Christian in their interviews
