I think I have every Death album except Scream Bloody Gore and, by far, my favorite album is Symbolic. It's just got everything: kickass riffs, awesome solos, pretty sweet vocals as far as Chuck goes, excellent bass, and super duper cool drums by Mr. Hoglan. The clean parts and the heavy parts are so nicely mixed together.
I always try to introduce Death to folks and this is usually the first album I recommend. It took a while to get my band's drummer into Death, but now he's a big fan and Symbolic is his favorite Death album.
My favorite track on the album is Perennial Quest, but some runner-ups would be: Sacred Serenity, Zero Tolerance, Crystal Mountain, and Without Judgement.
Next month, my band will be covering this song at one or two of our shows (the other guitarist taking the lead guitar and solo in the intro and me taking the solo in the middle of the song):

Our drummer also wants to do this one:

Every Death album is awesome and in need of appreciation, but especially this one!
