Found a new motivation....

Im on youtube listening to some periphery clips and stumbled on to...

]YouTube - Periphery - All New Materials 8-Bit

an 8 bit cover of Periphery's song all new materials, since I've started gaming with an NES back in the late 80's. I am really wanting to do some 8 bit songs, only problem is how the heck do I get started on this???

^ Look into the program Reason, maybe even FL Studio. Those are some great sequencers and if you play around with some of the synths you can get some pretty awesome 8-bit sounds goin'.
