I like the new GnRs album.
I decided to put my disappointment about Axl and the band and about how long it's taken aside for a moment and give it another listen and I enjoyed it. If you can overlook the hype and the fact that it's had sooo much money and time spent on it, it's not a bad album, it is not the most incredible thing I have ever heard, it is not the best GnRs album but I like it enough to want to buy it.
The whole album is up on their myspace MySpace.com - Guns N Roses - LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - Rock / Metal / Rock - www.myspace.com/gunsnroses if anyone is interested.
I agree, it's not the best GnR album but it's far from shit. It's not really my cup of tea, but from all the marketing they did, I think it'll sell well. I just have a problem hearing GnR with all of the fancy production techniques of today - I was expecting a more raw sound ala Appetite for Destruction. I'd give it a 3/5.
