    Lock Up the Wolves!

Man. I can never, ever, ever get enough of Dio. I was just so fascinated by him and all the dark heaven/Hell angels/Devil imagery when I was growing up and getting into metal. "There's no back door to Heaven. Just a front door to Hell." What a classic fuckin' lyric.

The older I get, the more I realize what an inspiration he really is to me. Well, duh. For a guy who's favorite metal idol is Sammi Curr (because he sold his soul to the devil and was eeeeevil) Dio is a pretty natural fit.

Here it is! Lock 'em up!

One of my favorite lyrics as well! Incredibly underrated album. I really love Rowan's more bluesy style on this album, and always wished he'd done another record with Ronnie.

The production on this album was very good, but I never felt the songs were there. Looking back, I think Ronnie could have used a stronger riff-writing partner on this album. It was cool that he was trying to get away a little bit from the formula he'd used on the previous Dio albums. Rowan was a big improvement over Craig Goldy, though.

It's a great album, Evil On Queen Street is such an underrated, awesome song!!
