    Dude, awesome. The older I get, the more I realize that music is soooooo much about choice in sounds. That's why so many cheesy ass songs make good metal covers. They probably weren't bad to begin with, progression and arrangement wise... It's just that pop music's collective love of dogshit, outdated TB808 drum sounds and Barney & Friends quality accompaniment isn't a good place to start when you're trying to make something that sounds good. I wouldn't want to listen to Porcupine Tree's 'Anesthetize' as an autotuned dog fart either.
