Tomorrow night I'm going to see the Canadian leg of the August Burns Red tour with a buddy of mine. Set your goals, Born of Osiris and Texas in July are supporting.
I was going 80% for Born of Osiris and 20% for August Burns Red. Unforseen circumstances now have it that a London band (decent band, don't get me wrong) will be filling that spot. Since I haven't seen B.O.O. since 2007, I'm kind of disappointed. Not anyone's fault, but I'm not happy about it.
Anyone else had that gutted feeling when the band you wanted to see can't make the show?
It's also a bit of a kicker when I missed Periphery and Scale the Summit to play to 25 people for our drummer's last show (drummer hunting sucks).
On the positive side, the jamspace is being rearranged as I type
This shit is annoying. Happened with Decrepit Birth and Vital Remains (Half the band made it I guess...) on Summer Slaughter. Canada/US border is fucked. Luckily there were a lot of other bands to make up for it each time.
