). I didn't get a chance to listen to the OP's video, but when I do I'll be able to figure out whether or not that's what the problem is.
Anyway...I've tried hard for years and years to get into black metal, but to no avail--I find any of it that isn't Melechesh, Mayhem, Enslaved, Rotting Christ or the first two Burzum albums to be pretty hard for me to understand. It's just that the idea of "atmospheric" metal goes so counter to everything I grew up learning about metal through listening to thrash and death metal for most of my life...Sorry black metal fans. I guess I'm just not grim enough.
