I've just created a new site and uploaded my old music from the '80s and '90s.
I'm keeping this separate from my Council of One site because (a) I wasn't working under that name when I recorded this stuff, and (b) the quality level is not quite the same.
I got the idea to do this when I was assembling a new entertainment center for the living room. I had stored my DAT deck in the old stereo cabinet, and I decided to finally transfer the DAT masters of my '80s music to hard drive and get rid of the DAT deck after that. Well, as it turned out my DAT deck was dead, so I had to rent one to do the transfers. But I'm glad I did. The music wasn't as bad as I'd remembered. There's a ringing endorsement for you.
Along with that, I also finally uploaded my two albums from the '90s to my new site. Most of it is sort of Satriani-wannabe stuff, but there's some good stuff there despite the occasional lack of quality control and the poor recording tech I had available at the time. The '80s stuff was recorded on a 4-track Tascam Ministudio, and the '90s albums, Rhythms and Frankly Speaking were recorded on an 8-track Tascam 488 Portastudio (with a couple tracks on Frankly Speaking being digitally recorded on an Akai DPS-12).
Let me know what you think. And please be gentle.
We need to work on your album covers bro.
