Friday will be our last gig. Our singer is 23, and she's going to L.A. to chase her dream. It's the right thing for her to do at this point in her life (hell, she's even too old already), but it sucks for us. We can't find anyone else near as good as she is, so we're just going to call it quits. Truth be told, I'm ready for a break from it (but I'll miss the gig money).
We could soldier on without her, but not with significant changes to the dynamic and the song list. It just isn't worth it.
At least I'll have my weekends back. I'll probably look for another band in a month or so.
Looks like my new Carvin will be here just in time to miss the band I bought it for.
That sucks dude... take the time to learn new stuff and try figure out if there is any other genre you would like to play instead. Form a new band or continue jam with the old guys. Get into production(if you aren't already) learn to mix, guitar theory etc.
You'll be at it in no time!
