While I agree both are hilarious, I actually lost a bit of respect for Mike Patton over that video, as he's clearly forgotten that music is about personal expression and enjoyment and that fun music is just as valid as experimental music. You can always do new things with old tools.

Randy's comments are more directed at the fans/critics than the bands, IMHO, since that's who names a sub-genre. And he has no complaints about the music, only the name.

Randy's right. Everyone here knows I fucking hate labeling, and it definitely seems worse now than ever.
