my older daughter was up for the weekend and is a huge Chevelle fan so I got us tickets and a few of my buds came with us.
Surprisingly really good show. Chevelle was pretty much awesome for their whole set and Pete's voice was spot on.
Bush's songs come across so much better live than just listening to them on a CD or in the car.
I have never been much of a fan of either band but I knew almost every song Bush played last night (the radio loved them in the 90's) Gavin was very engaging throughout the entire show ( during one song he walked thru the entire crowd while he was singing).
When he takes off his guitar he kind of prances around a little "sissy boyish" but besides that he was great last night.
The sound in the House of blues in Boston is really good.
We missed Filter, the show started at 6:00 ??????
WtF?? was that all about, I was home in time to catch the end of the Bruins game against the Hawks.

I was super fucking impressed when I saw bush open for defines last year. That's a band that needs to be playing live more and recording less. Good grief.
Chevellet rocked when I saw them a few years ago too (when vena sera came out)
Bummer bout filter :/
