Following Samer's post in this thread:
In the past I was more interested in technical ability and accurate reproduction of the songs on albums I love, but having seen BTBAM just the other week and a few other bands recently, I realised that while the execution was flawless, the lack of movement made it incredibly boring.
By extension, though, singers moving around doesn't impress me too much - too often it is just the singer moving.
Nowadays I'm more impressed by a good sound, interesting ideas on stage, and a band that moves around. Obviously, no one can top Dillinger for that, but still....
What are your thoughts?
Sound, quality, and the ability of the band to engage the crowd to make it a one for all experience.
