GTA: San Andreas radio appreciation

I bought the entire GTA series on Steam a couple of weeks back for 4.99. Been playing SA recently, and I'm really re-enjoying it (I think this is my third time through it).

The radio stations are really cool in this one, the best in the series for me. My favourite stations being K-Rose, K-DST ("if the police can't stop you, then you must be on....The Dust") and Radio X. Some nice, non-obvious choices in there:

Few good ones from K-DST:

]Heart - Barracuda (HQ) - YouTube

]The Who - Eminence front - YouTube

]America - A Horse With No Name+Lyrics - YouTube

Few from K-ROSE:

]Amos Moses - Jerry Reed - YouTube

]Ed Bruce - Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to Be Cowboys - YouTube

]Loretta Lynn And Conway Twitty - Louisiana Woman Mississippi Man - YouTube

Few from Radio X:

]Helmet - Unsung - YouTube

]Danzig - Mother - YouTube

And any game that has Rusty Cage and Them Bones as part of its soundtrack, well, that game's just fine with me.

You know, I've been a moron. I just looked at the Wiki page for it. You're right. VC does have some killer radio, and possibly the better DJs and talk shows. Still, SA's radio is supremely cool, eh?

The radio was the only thing I enjoyed about SA.

GTA3 and VC were awesome though.
I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Nice thread, brings back some fun memories. VC was the shit but it sure was fun to do 'two player mode' in SA and do drive by's with your buddy

But one thing I have to mention with Vice City; fucking Raining Blood, man.
