I feel absolutely zero shame in saying that I really like Utada Hikaru. Liked her stuff for about 13 years now since I first heard her debut album. Yes, it's pop. But I think it's good pop.
I tried a rock-style instrumental arrangement of the song "In My Room" off her 1999 debut "First Love." A pretty difficult song to arrange since the original is several layers of keyboards, pianos, bass guitar, regular guitar, drums, several layers of vocals, and some other percussion.
So, despite my cover having a ton of tracks, it's actually pretty bare compared to the original.

Since most of you probably don't know the song, here's the original (I am super surprised it hasn't been removed from YouTube since Japanese record labels are the strictest entities in the entire universe ) if you want something to compare it to:

You're a real Marty Friedman! Actually, I love taking catchy pop songs and transcribing them to guitar.
