Those of you who play out and use different guitars for different songs/tunings/etc, do you run an a/b/y type box, or just do the cord swap?

What about regulating volumes? some pickups are hotter than others....

Cord swap. The pickups don't make enough of a difference to worry about.

Swap chords. Use to use an A/B box but the changes were so fast that I ended up tangling the chords and yanking guitars out of their stands on occasion.

I use a wireless with 2 transmitters on the same channel. Just turn one off, swap, and turn the other on. But I only switch for a broken string, or if my tuning goes horribly awry.

I keep my wireless on my belt, so its easy to swap guitars on the same pack. I adjust the input gain on my axefx for different pickups/guitars.

I use the same strap, with the wireless on it. Just swap guitars.

    I just switch necks.

I use Armor All on my pants to avoid any unwanted elbow/arm friction.
