so this has been on a number of sites since forever but i'm just picking up on this now... After Heritage sucked IMO and Akerfeldt cant really do low growls as good anymore maybe it's for the best that he left bloodbath but still. Speculations? Maybe the return of Tagtren?

That is also what i think... i have always liked Nightmares album more than the others. Altough i seem to be one of the very few who adores the guitar tone of the ressurection through carnage album
EDIT: Here's an idea - bring back SWANÖ... because he is just the MAN when it comes to writing some groovey and catchy death metal in the old school style

I do like Heritage, I don't really care for death metal anymore, and I love the Storm Corrosion album, so I guess that means I'm on board with this. Hey, people change. If Akerfeldt doesn't want to do growls anymore, then he shouldn't.

Tagtgren would be perfect. Nightmares Made Flesh is Bloodbath's best album by far and Tagtgren's vocals were amazing on that album.

Judging how boring of an album Heritage was, this doesn't surprise me in one bit.

Yeah Swano doesn't do death metal vocals anymore and he said that he could never do them for longer periods anyway so that means no live shows. Seems like Peter is occupied too with stuff so i can't see how he would find the time either but one can hope
Most likely the new singer is gonna be someone with a more underground DM background since their new guitarist Per Eriksson was also just a guitar tech before joining bloodbath on the new record and also Katatonia.
To me Akerfeldt has sounded a bit irreverent towards bloodbath and death metal in general for the last years anyway. But i respect that he just isn't interested anymore and should make music he wants to... not just please fans

I really liked Heritage, as well as Storm Corrosion.
