This is the thread about new posts on my guitar/mixing/daw blog osiris guitar.
My posting frequency is down quite a bit due to new baby, moving apartments and getting married in September - but I'm quite happy with the posts I've managed to make lately.
The newest one is an introduction to compressors and compressor techniques in mixing. Probably too basic for a bunch of mixing ninjas likea lot of you, but I really had to learn this properly myself once and for all: How to Use a Compressor – with Great Power Comes… | osiris guitar
The other one is a review of a Guitar Jack, a guitar interface for iPhone and iPad. It's a docking port interface with its own D/A converter much like the apogee jam, and has an amplified headset jack for output: GuitarJack 2 for iPhone Review | osiris guitar
