Just listened to his solo album for the first time. Wow! All his work is so tasteful. Not once did I think he was going over the top. Unbelievable!!

That lead tone is *very* reminiscent of Andy Timmon's.

THIS. I love it when players know how to deploy pickups. Michael romeo is another example who flips to his bridge to sustain a bend.
