I have a question. Is there a way to get blank CDs the quality of the ones that are used for signed bands? You know, the ones that are white mirrors, not green or blue like the ones you buy in those cheap jewel cases?
If not, what is the best quality of disks and cases you can get for a demo? I've made one so far, but the quality was not that impressive. They feel cheap and fragile, unlike regular "store bought" band disks.
Finally, what is the best way to have a label over the disk with an image I can make for my music?
Yes. My band has released two EPs/demos and both are silver on the data side. We used thin jewel cases and had the designs I made printed on the top.
We had a printing company do it for us. We had 100 CDs printed (with CD cases and CD inserts) done for around $200 - 250.
