Fuckin' eh! This performance puts their '1970s live performances of "Kashmir" to shame--at least based on the boots I've heard. Plant sounds surprisingly good, but it helps that the studio version was recorded after he started to lose some of the top end of his range.

True story: this song floored me the first time I heard it on the radio as a kid, but the DJs would never announce the title, so I kept buying Zeppelin albums until I found it. Kids, this is how stupid life was before the Internet.

    Wirelessly posted (like MAGIC!)

Well, that was pretty fucking awesome. That's as good as I've heard them play live in years, if not ever. I don't think I've ever heard Page play with that much gain. The grind really worked well against Jonesey's strings.

Kashmir is one of my favourite songs ever, and is definitely #1 on the all-time list of badass epic riffs.

That was excellent. Not as good as their performances in the 70s, but much much better than I expected. Especially considering Robert Plant's vocal range isn't as good as it used to be. He still managed to sing the hell out of that.
