    I'd call that kind of bassist "not in my band anymore" Funny video is funny, but fa also full of bullshit I can understand his point of view, but he's not doing his job if there's no pre-production involved, if he's recording musicians who aren't ready to record. This is a guy who's doing it for money bitching about things that make his job easier, not someone trying to make quality recordings because he enjoys it.

    If he runs a studio, it's not his job to do pre-production. That's the job of the producer. Since 99% of bands want to produce themselves, he's just giving pointers as to what they, as the "producer" should be doing.
