Just watched that "Metal Evolution" series on DVD the other week. The host interviewed King Diamond. Wow - that's the first time I saw him without makeup. Just seems like a really down-to-earth guy.

Remembered the first time I saw him - the video for "Welcome Home" - back in High School. Wondered "WTF?" while watching it.

I have said it before and here I go again.."Them" is some of the best metal guitar ever laid down. Before I got into the whole story and characters etc I wished there was a instrumental version of this album then slowly the voices made sense to me and the sheer genius of the King came through to my innocent young mind.
