Every day Joe dont know how to flow.
Everyday Joe dont know note from note.
Joe has no musical education.
Joe has no musical expectations. (aside from awesomeness)
Joe doesn't want music to pick apart.
Joe doesn't usually consider it a work of art.
Joe only wants a soundtrack, a background to life.
Joe only wants a great beat to rock out and impress his future wife.
Joe cant sing a 3rd harmony, not even by ear.
Joe only wants 3 things, sex, tits and beer.
So who are we really trying to impress as we write our new parts?
Musical sibling rivalry? Is that when improvement really starts?
Now before you start to think in about negative implications,
I want you to consider a more positive motivation.
Free knowledge for all who dare to inquire,
to raise the bar beyond our current "most inspired".
We can create a new value on music as art
If we move away from green paper and focus on the heart.
Our solos are fast, technical and "unique".
But they dont cause tears to run down any cheeks.
I cant be the only one who feels this way.
Should we really care on what gear the gods play?
I agree with a lot of that.
