I've actually found out a bit more about this band..
They have just released a debut album, called 'The King and The Bishop'. You could find this on iTunes for £4.49. I've actually bought one copy after listen some of the track I found on youtube, and I've to admit those guys are loads of things together. I love the album, it's a journey.
Very Prog (I can definitely tell that as I Love PROG), Metal, rock and something else too! Also it seems Metal Hammer will release the physical copy of this album with their magazine towards the end of August.
Also they have announced a London show on the the 23rd of August at the Borderline following their sold out barfly show at the Barfly in may.
They're latest live show has been rated 9/10 by Metal Hammer and Prog magazine (clearly those guys are loved by the press).
I've listen to the album with my desk speakers M-Audio Bx-5 and I've just been blew away. For me it's finally something new in this boring Uk metal scene right now. Honestly I'm tired of bands sounding like Bullet for my valentine, bring me the horizon, bleed from within and company. I respect them for what they have done, but they all sound and look the same!! And that's why I guess they are using make up..just to get noticed within the millions of bands out there today!
There's another band called Ghost, I'm sure you guys now them.
When I saw them the first time I was actually intrigued by them. But then I listen to their stuff and it's definitely not my cup of tea! They look cool, evil, but their music doesn't reflect their image at all! (that's my opinion). But they have been noticed and they are becoming a very big band.
I play in band myself and I know how hard it is to make something interesting nowadays. Most of the times musicians are lazy and they follow the trend that could lead them to an easy way to success.. At least Deadly Circus Fire is trying and I reckon (with or without make up) those guys are on their way of doing something unique.
