Thanks, it was a shit ton of fun. Afterward we did the gig, the only advice I can really give from an opportunity stand point is literally introduce yourself to everyone, say thanks, ask everyone's name and shake the hand of every roadie and stage hand. Walk out front and thank the FOH guy as well before, or right after, sound check. You dont have to remember everyone, but I highly recommend being the guy that they may remember for putting on a good show and being professional while at the same time NOT being the guy they remember as a douche and never talked to anyone.
I friended a few of the members of the opening acts and stage hands on FB and we chat once in a while. I got a comment from one of the stage hands just the other day saying how we were very cool to shoot the shit with, quick to get on and off, quick to sound check, just super easy to work with. I told him we had a ton of fun and everyone was great to work with. He said next time I am in Nashville to hit him up ahead of time and he can show me around if he is in town.
Now if that one guy mentions it to any other big names he works for, or recommends us out of the blue, it could totally snowball. After all it's all in who you know.
Enjoy the fuck out of it. I know I did.
