My sister is a "Voice of McDonald's" finalist!

    Hey guys!

I found out that McD's is having a singing competition that my "baby" sister has entered. I guess voting still counts for it, so please vote for Vanessa Sears!

But my intent of this thread is to say that she passed the first voting round, beat 4 other contestants in Toronto this past week for the semi-finals, and has won recording time in Nashville and tickets to Orlando for the world finals!

Consider this the proud/jealous older brother post :P.

She is currently taking Musical Theatre at Sheridan College

Who knows, maybe I'll get paid to tour after all!

I'm honestly not saying this because she's your sister, but she's seriously the best of them. The other girls are pretty weak, and the dude is just alright.

Also, congrats to her for not only sounding great, but for not looking like you with long hair.

Hey man....your little sister has BIG talent bro!!! She sounds great....good luck to both of you. I also think she deserves to win....she is the best of all of them IMHO.
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

Wow, your sister sounds great. The rest of them sound like amateurs in a singing contest, and she sounds like a professional singer. Musical theater's a tough road, but it sounds like she has the voice for it.

"McNuggets, yeah, cheeseburgers too! Fries and a large coke! Whoooooooo, new hot wings!"

In all seriousness, best of luck to her.
