    I got to just before the 'heavy riff' and I thought, 'thank god he's not another guy doing that slapping the guitar stuff', then he busted out a really lame version of it.

    Not bad, and dude's got acoustic skills I'd love to have, but that song stripped down to its chords and melody is pretty boring and primary-sounding (like a lot of metal).
