Gig Review: Every Time I Die Christmas Show

    Hey all,

It's that time of year again, Christmas shows. Every year, Every Time I Die puts on 2-3 Christmas shows here in Buffalo.

This year, I went last night on the second night. The lineup included:

Wreckage (Buffalo hardcore with a metal edge)

    Kills and Thrills (California metal)

    Code Orange Kids (Pittsburgh hardcore)

letlive. (LA crazy off the walls rock shit)

And Every Time I Die (Buffalo "Southern Metal")

It was an exciting show, and the last three bands on this lineup are very energetic. All the bands killed their sets, which was super awesome.

    Key Points:

Jason from letlive. can still rock the fuck out in a sling.

Jason can crawl on top of a speaker with one foot of ceiling clearance.

"No stage diving and No crowd surfing" signs don't apply to ETID.

The only way to see ETID is at the Christmas show in Buffalo.

    And videos:

From last year's secret after show set at our local DIY venue (which got shut down).

letlive. covered Fix Me by Black Flag which was awesome as fuck.

letlive. is one of my favourite bands, and Jason is such an incredible front man. Not only is he off the wall crazy on stage, he's a legitimately great singer, and he's a genuinely smart and nice guy, always great with the fans, and genuinely appreciative of the life he has and the things he gets to do.

I actually really dig ETID. Big fan of Keith's vocals.

Gonna have to check out these vids later when I've got a good buzz goin.
