I've just seen that this guy, Jason Romo, has several albums on iTunes consisting entirely of other people's work, passed off as his own. He's not even re-recorded songs as covers, he's actually lifted the original recordings from the artist's albums and is selling them as his own music. After a quick listen to some of his stuff on iTunes, I've heard half of Rick Graham's album, Chris Brooks, Neil Zaza, ALL of Marco Sfogli's album, Daniele Gottardo, Gary Hoey, and even Steve Vai for fuck sake!
Most of his social media presence and his website seem to be down, so it looks like he knows he's been caught, but if you can share this, or get in touch with the guys whose music has been stolen, it would be a great help to those involved. Can't believe the nerve (and stupidity) of this guy.
I foresee some "willful copyright infringement" suits coming his way...
