    When that happens to me it's usually the rythym of songs or riffs more so than similar note structure, but it definitely happens.

    Y'know what else I hate is coming up with a cool riff or lyric or vocal idea and then as soon as you walk over the bathroom threshold it fucking dissapears from your brain like your door frame is filled with magnets and your brain is a siezed computer filled with child porn.

    I've never thought up an awesome riff. I have thought up a couple that were pretty lame, then heard the damn things 3 months later on the radio.

    I'm a sad corporate mass market hack apparently. Damn shame I can't get paid like one.
