Personally I don't think it's a good idea to mimic someones set up exactly, as you will probably find there are elements to that set up that work for you and other elements that don't. For example some people love the recorded tone of emgs, but don't always like playing through them and the way they feel. BUT saying that, if that's the style of music you play, and the sound you like, his set up could be used as a starting point. There is no point getting a fender bassman when the tones you like all come from high gain amps. Use Adam D's set up as a launch pad to help you home in on what gear would suit you, just don't assume being a carbon copy will be right for you.
An example of that was I love the tone on disarm the descent and tried out an ironheart recently and it really did nothing for me. I Know there are tones in that amp I enjoy, but playing through it felt a bit lifeless
