Mine was at the Houston House of Blues, opening was a band called Kingnaldo followed by Bumblefoot, Gary Hoey and then Yngwie Malmsteem. Yngwie Malmsteem's guitar is literally the loudest thing I've heard in my entire life. It was amazing, and I got a pick. I've been to one other concert before this one, but it wasn't a metal band.
Post your first concerts.

Grand Ole Oprey when I was around nine years old. I'm not much of a country music fan, but seeing an extremely talented band just tear through songs like that was almost overwhelming at that age. Ricky Skaggs played mandolin and flat top guitar that night as well as I've ever seen them played. Thanks to my father, I still love good bluegrass to this day.
