    Thirty Years Ago Today...

    ...Powerslave was released

Hard to believe it has been thirty years, I still remember stopping after school at Sound Warehouse to buy the album. This was the first tour I saw Maiden, WASP opened and Maiden's set was mind-blowing. Damn I feel old...

That's the only Maiden album that I LOVE. I never cared for Number of the Beast.

This means that Bathory's 'The Return' is 30, as is Mercyful Fate's 'Don't Break the Oath' and Slayer's 'Haunting the Chapel'. WOW.

Am I the only guy that seems to be getting old in a giant hurry?

Nope. I remember getting this when it first came out, and playing it over and over.

I remember making a point of going to get this after school that day.
