Really interesting watch.

I must admit that i'm guilty of not really appreciating quality recordings as much as i should. Most of my listening is done in the car or the workshop, where there's a ton of background noise, so to be honest, a lot of the nuances are lost on me anyway. My new car is much quieter and has a much better stereo, so even in older stuff that i'm familiar with, i'm hearing new things i never heard before, which i actually kind of enjoy. Hearing new details in different listening environments adds an odd sense of surprise and re-discovery to the experience for me.
But it's still very rare for me these days to really sit down and immerse myself in a musical experience the way i used to.
I want a real home stereo for exactly that; listen to an album with no distractions.
I do 99% of my listening in the car.
