Ministry is actually one of my first memories of heavy music.
There was this horrible video game back in the first half of the 2000s when I was in high school called "Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines" or something. It was like, a "gritty" urban vampire RPG based on some "gritty" urban vampire table top role playing game.
When I got my first mp3 player, I had been raised up to that point by my mother and grandparents indoctrinated into a "Only Classical music is real" sort of environment. Having nothing to put on my bitching new iPod to show my friends (admittedly, Dvorak won't lead girls to believe you have cool taste in music), I had to get creative and find the mp3 file from my favorite gothic teenage angst vidya game so my portable music player wasn't completely barren of "dangerous" music.
This is the only song from that dark era of low bitrate mp3 video game soundtracks being my only album owned with music composed after the 1920s I remember that I still think rocks. Apparently Al reworked another one of their songs to make the soundtrack for the video game. Although Rammstein had already been "reworking" Ministry songs for a long time at that point.
