You know, these posts boggle my mind. Do people really think this works?

I think a lot of these guys think that internet metal and guitarist forums are just starving for new music and will latch on to whatever someone puts out. Plus, there's the tendencies most small bands have where they think what they're doing is revolutionary and mind-blowing and that no one has ever heard anything like it before before. They just need to get people to listen to it, and where better than a metal forum?

So, Drew, I think the answer is "yes." The word "delusional" kind of comes to mind too. Many of us are guilty of that delusional aspect at one point or our life or another.

(goes off on intellectual discussion of small metal bands' mind thought processes)
