Hey guys! Uncle Ben here has been wailing on this sexy Aristides 060 lately, and I gotta say, it's flippin incredible. Some of the best fretwork I've ever seen, action is at like 3/64 at fret 17 with no buzz. Insane. The tone is amazingly focused and solid; it's very balanced, I wouldn't say any one frequency is emphasized. It's just got a super clear, very high-fi sound about it.
This particular one has the Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and custom custom in the bridge. Hip shot bridge and tuners, all very sturdy. It's seriously incredible.
Anyway, here's a quick video to give you an idea of the glorious lead tones on tap. Playing through my kemper profiler using a Marshall jcm800. Song is by my good friend (and boss!) Andy Wood, it's called The Hardest Goodbye. Go get his new solo record, Caught Between the Truth and a Lie on iTunes now, especially if you're into Andy Timmons, Eric Johnson, or Steve Morse!
